![]() This is a great option for a more comfortable ride. ![]() Fitted a Suntour SR Sp12 suspension seatpost on the bike and that allowed me to raise the seat to the correct height. Put another 60 miles on the bike in the last 2 days. Serial 1 created this fine instructional video. I hope to get in many miles in the next few years riding these fantastic ebikes. Bottom line, I love both of these bikes but the Serial 1 is a really special bike with great build quality and tech. They're both pedelac's and although similar they are different enough to give me 2 different riding experiences. The Serial 1 will be a nice option for my almost daily rides (40-50 miles) and taking on trips to the coast. My current bike is the an R&M GX Delite Rohloff 14E and I love that bike. Fit and finish is perfect, the Brose TF MAG motor and Enviolo CVT Belt drive make the bike powerful while being nearly silent. Only one 12 mile ride today but it performed flawlessly. The bike fit great, is incredibly easy to ride, comes with a 2 year warranty (serviced by the LBS) and, was Black Friday discounted by $1000 so I brought it home. Fortunately, it comes in 4 sizes and I needed the XL to accommodate my 6'5"frame. I browsed the Serial 1 section and went to their store this morning for a look see and test ride of the Rush City S. Last night, I out found that a local LBS had just picked up the Serial 1 line and checking their website I found they had demo bikes and some stock for sale. ![]() The Rush Speed looks like the more dedicated on-pavement commuter with better equipment, but the reviews don't ever mention how it fairs for light offroading duty.I have been looking for another ebike which is difficult in the crazy market and was browsing many Threads here and considering several options but had never heard of the Harley Davidson Serial 1. The Mosh is advertised as a rowdy playbike that you can jump, take down stairs and lightly offroad while still capable of handling a decent commute. Just need to be confident that I can ride it 25 miles thru whatever the local town throws at me. Does anyone know how well it would handle gravel trails stock? Could I add light mods to make it as offroad capable as the Mosh? I'm not looking to stunt with a BMX bike or crush wild terrain with a mountain bike. I'm leaning towards the Rush Cty Speed, but I'm new to the world of bikes. My city has several dozens of miles of bike trails - paved, gravel & dirt- that encircle the city. ![]() I'm wanting to get in better shape, reduce driving in my daily life, and explore my town more. My immediate area is moderately bikeable with nearby trails and city parks. My commute is 3 mi roundtrip w/light hills. Some info about me & my goals: I'm 6'2" & 280 lbs. I have the option to buy either one new for $2,000. Hi y'all, I have a choice between the two Serial 1 bikes for my first ebike and I wanted some input.
